Open Sites → your site. The Health tab shows a live checklist, and Verify installation checks your homepage right now.
What the results mean
| Result | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Installed correctly | The script is on your homepage with this site's key. | Nothing. Visits appear as people browse. |
| Different site key | A HeyLead script is there, but with another site's key. | Replace it with the snippet from this site's Install tab. |
| Script not found | We loaded your homepage but didn't see the script. | Check you published the change and cleared any cache plugin. |
| Blocked | Your site refused our check (often a firewall or bot protection). | Open your site yourself. If your visit appears, it's working. |
| Couldn't reach | The address didn't load. | Check the domain on the site's Settings tab. |
Installed through Google Tag Manager? The check can't see scripts that GTM adds later, so it may say Script not found even though tracking works. Open your site and check that First visit received turns green.
Other domains and subdomains
For security a site key only works on its own domain and its subdomains (www, blog, shop…). To use it on another domain (for example a separate landing-page domain), add it in Sites → your site → Settings → Allowed domains.
