No visits are showing
- Run Verify installation on the site's Health tab (what the results mean).
- Make sure you published the change (Webflow, Wix, GTM) and cleared your cache plugin (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed…).
- Check the domain matches. Visits from other domains are refused. Add them under Settings → Allowed domains.
- Check your trial or plan is active (Settings → Billing). Tracking pauses when a plan ends.
- Testing with an ad blocker? Some block analytics scripts. Try a private window without extensions.
A form isn't creating leads
- Check the site filter at the top of the dashboard. Your choice is remembered, so you may be looking at a different website. Choose All sites. The bell (top right) also lists every new lead.
- Check Sites → your site → Forms: the form should be listed as Capturing. If it isn't, open the page once and refresh the dashboard.
- The form needs an email, phone or message field to count as a lead form.
- Forms inside an iframe from another site (Typeform, Jotform…) can't be captured. See hidden fields.
- If the same person sends the same form again within 30 minutes (for example after fixing a mistake), it updates their lead instead of adding a second one.
- Attempts the form rejects (it shows an error) and sends with the email and phone boxes left empty aren't counted.
Check it yourself with debug mode
- 1Open the page with your form and add
?lo_debug=1to the address, e.g.https://yoursite.com/contact?lo_debug=1. - 2Open the browser console (right-click → Inspect → Console).
- 3You'll see Loaded for site key…, the forms found and, when you send the form, Lead captured followed by
lead → {ok: true}. - 4If tracking is refused, debug mode shows Tracking stopped with the reason (plan not active, website paused, domain not allowed or unknown site key). Without debug mode the script stays silent so your visitors never see errors. Type
HeyLead.debug()for a summary to send to support. - 5Turn debug mode off with
?lo_debug=0.
A lead has the wrong channel
- Look at the lead's journey. The first and last touch are often different.
- Many apps hide the referrer, so visits look Direct. Add UTM tags to links you share (how).
- Use custom channel rules for your own groupings.
